Tips
Don't
permit young children to use a microwave. A microwave is a
special item with special needs. Not all items can be safely
used in a microwave.
Be
careful of furniture or play items left out in the sun.
These items may be hot and cause contact burns.
Practice
fire drills with children on a regular basis. Never reenter
the home and be sure you know where to meet once you are out.
Once
they have outgrown their car seat, older children should be
secured in a car booster seat until they are at least 80 pounds.
