The EXTRA LARGE cover provides TOTAL coverage on ALL single child shopping carts and is made wider across the back to also fit the CostCo double seat carts. This does not affect how BABY a la cart fits on the other large carts, such as those used by Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, etc. If you are a regular shopper at CostCo, I would recommend the Extra Large size cover. NOTE: The Extra Large cover holds only ONE child.
 

    • BABY a la cart doubles as a cover for public highchairs.
    • BABY a la cart is a back saver! When rolled up and buckled around your waist, it becomes a "hip rider".  Hip riders are the newest must-have.  While holding your baby, let him/her "sit" on the rolled up BABY a la cart, thus eliminating a lot of the strain on your back. (Picture to come soon)
    • BABY a la cart's unique design allows for it to roll up into itself, becoming its own convenient carry bag.
    • BABY a la cart, when rolled up, makes a great away-from-home nursing pillow.
    • Unsnap the belt* and your rolled up BABY a la cart can be used on the floor as a roll-pillow for your 7-8 month old (like other nursing pillows) and later as a "pillow" for your toddler while riding in the car!

 

  • Attached seatbelt - Always Mommy clean... just like the BABY a la cart! Our belt is designed to wrap around the outside of the seat's backrest, thread through the oversized belt hole and buckles in front. In one easy step you have secured your BABY and the BABY a la cart cover to the cart. No extra steps required like some other shopping cart seat covers, such as an additional belt and/or velcroing the cover to the cart. The safety belt also serves as the carrying strap or when you are using your  BABY a la cart as a "hip rider" it buckles around your waist.

     
  • Two loops across the front will keep baby's favorite toys, Snack Trap, sippy cup, bottle or pacifier in the cart and not on the floor.

     
  • Two pockets - One with a Velcro closure for Mommy things and one open pocket for baby to get in and out of. The pockets are across the back (see picture above). In our opinion, pockets inside the cart are totally unnecessary. You do not need a pocket in where the baby is sitting to hold a bottle, cup or toys.  While you are shopping, these things will be attached to the loops, otherwise, you will be playing the dropsy game with your baby!

     
  • Extra Soft - 100% cotton with THICK, FLUFFY padding for EXTRA comfort to make your baby's (and yours, if you know what I mean) shopping experience more enjoyable. BABY a la cart's batting is 1 inch thick.  Sort of like the fairy tale story, not too thick (that would make it too bulky) and not too thin (that would not offer a cozy, soft ride) - but JUST RIGHT.

  • Value - BABY a la cart is a grow-with-me product that will be used for years, not months. BABY a la cart is pediatrician recommended for babies 6 months to 3 years old. However, as long as your toddler is riding in the shopping cart seat, you will use your BABY a la cart. We have customers that continue to use their BABY a la cart with their 4 and 5 year olds.
